At the heart of the new Light Bee X sits a 10kW peak power PMSM motor producing a staggering 295Nm of wheel torque. It launches harder, responds faster and delivers the sort of acceleration that makes grown adults giggle inside their helmets. Some bikes encourage restraint. The Light Bee politely acknowledges restraint before completely ignoring it.
Gone is the familiar 60V setup. The 2026 model moves to a 72V 35Ah lithium battery, delivering stronger performance and improved efficiency throughout the rev range. With up to 75km of estimated range, it gives riders more time on the trails and less time staring longingly at a charger.
The Light Bee X is not just more powerful. Riders can tailor the experience using Sport and Eco modes, three levels of throttle response, five levels of regenerative braking, and two-stage SWC wheelie control. It is essentially several bikes in one. From controlled precision to absolute chaos, the choice is yours.
Despite the extra capability, the forged aluminium chassis keeps weight to around 59kg. The compact dimensions, 830mm seat height and responsive geometry preserve everything riders love about the Light Bee platform. It still feels less like a motorcycle and more like an extension of your bad ideas.
A 19-inch front wheel, 18-inch rear wheel, generous ground clearance and proper off-road suspension make this bike feel at home on trails, jumps and technical terrain. Most obstacles become educational experiences for the rider. The Surron tends to view them as mild inconveniences.
