The Bondi is already gaining the attention of top publications and reviewers, who comment on the scooter’s unique features and how they allow for a completely different ride experience.
Element’s tag line can largely be credited to their unique 20×3 inch scooter wheels, which deliver exceptional ride quality. Larger wheels make the e-scooter more stable and able to deal with uneven terrain, stray stones and even the infamous British pothole.
All this makes the Bondi easier to control and offers significantly improved rider safety. The larger tyres also act as shock absorbers, negating the need for suspension for most road riding, and they’re a lot less likely to get punctures due to better weight distribution.
Ergonomic grips coupled with a half twist throttle offer comfort and control even on long rides…so no more suffering from a dead throttle finger. A wide eco-friendly bamboo deck offers the perfect level of flex to help iron out bumps, plus we think it looks pretty cool.
What’s more, the integrated lifting and locking-point handle, coupled with an easy-fold stem, makes moving your Bondi a breeze.
The Bondi doesn’t cut corners when it comes to quality. Tektro dual hydraulic disc brakes offer superb stopping power. The Bak battery (as used by German power tool company, Stihl) will keep you moving with premium reliability. The Intelligent 850c colour display is clear and bright in all light conditions and even features a USB charging port to power your phone or other devices.

All of the components of the Bondi come with a waterproof rating, ranging from IPX5 for the battery (protected against low-pressure water jets) to IPX8 for the controller (can be submerged to 3m). This gives the scooter an overall rating of IPX5. Whilst we wouldn’t recommend you make a habit of riding in the rain or trying to cross a ford on the Bondi, you won’t have to worry about being caught out by the weather.
This of course also contributes to the safety credentials of the Bondi – reducing the risk of electrical hazards and of leaving you stranded somewhere you don’t want to be.
