A cargo bike shouldn’t feel like you’re pedalling a sofa uphill. Thankfully, the Fiido T3 has a 250W mid-drive motor delivering 100Nm of torque, giving you plenty of assistance when the bike is loaded with shopping, bags or little passengers. The mid-drive motor works with a torque sensor, so the assistance responds naturally to how you’re pedalling — making the ride feel smooth, controlled and pleasantly punchy.
The nine-speed S-Ride drivetrain gives you plenty of gears to play with too. Whether you’re cruising along the seafront, threading through town or facing that hill you’ve been trying to avoid, the T3 has the gearing and electric muscle to make getting there considerably easier.

The T3 is designed around real family life, with a 150kg maximum payload and both front and rear cargo space. That means there’s room for everyday essentials, shopping, bags and passengers, while the flexible accessory setup lets you customise the bike with compatible child seats, guardrails, baskets and trailers.
The low centre of gravity helps keep the bike stable when loaded, while the low-step frame makes getting on and off easier. It’s the sort of practicality you’ll appreciate every single day — especially when you’re trying to load the bike while simultaneously negotiating with a four-year-old about wearing their helmet.

Nobody likes watching the battery percentage disappear faster than expected, especially when you’ve got a cargo bike loaded up and a long way left to go. The T3 comes with a seriously impressive 972Wh removable battery, with Fiido quoting up to 187.22km of range in its Eco-mode testing.
That’s a serious amount of potential riding from a single charge, whether you’re using the bike for commuting, family errands or simply finding excuses to take the scenic route home.
Fiido’s testing recorded 187.22km in Eco mode, 159.23km in Sport and 129.80km in Turbo, using an 85kg rider on flat terrain at 32°C. Real-world range will naturally vary depending on rider and cargo weight, hills, wind, temperature, tyre pressure and assistance level — but the sheer size of that battery gives the T3 plenty of endurance.

The T3 may be designed for urban life, but Fiido hasn’t skimped on the hardware. Four-piston hydraulic brakes provide strong stopping power when you’re carrying a full load, while the 70mm front suspension fork helps smooth out potholes, kerbs and less-than-perfect roads.
The wide CST 20 x 2.4-inch cargo tyres add stability and grip, giving the bike a planted feel when you’re carrying precious cargo. There’s plenty of everyday cleverness here too, including an integrated horseshoe lock, LED lighting, adjustable handlebars and saddle, NFC keyless unlocking and an HD colour display.
Put it all together and the T3 feels less like a specialist cargo machine and more like a genuinely useful family vehicle — only considerably more fun than sitting in traffic.
The Fiido T3 is a compact, family-focused electric cargo bike designed for school runs, shopping, commuting and everyday trips around town. It combines a 250W mid-drive motor producing 100Nm of torque with a 972Wh removable battery and a 150kg maximum payload.
The Fiido T3 has a maximum payload of 150kg. This is the total load the bike is designed to carry, so remember to factor in the rider, passengers and cargo when calculating your total weight.
The T3 uses a 250W mid-drive motor with 100Nm of torque. That’s a serious amount of torque for a family cargo bike and gives the T3 plenty of assistance when you’re carrying a heavier load or tackling hills.
Fiido quotes a maximum range of up to 187.22km with the 972Wh battery. Its own testing recorded 187.22km in Eco mode, 159.23km in Sport and 129.80km in Turbo. Real-world range will vary depending on terrain, rider and cargo weight, wind, temperature, tyre pressure and riding mode.
Yes. The T3 is designed around family transport and is compatible with suitable child seats and other cargo accessories. Fiido states that compatible child seats should be approximately 17–20cm wide. Always follow the manufacturer’s weight limits and use appropriate safety equipment when carrying children.
Yes. The T3 can be used with suitable compatible trailers and hitch configurations. Always check the trailer manufacturer’s requirements and Fiido’s compatibility guidance before fitting a trailer.
Very much so. The 100Nm mid-drive motor provides plenty of torque for climbing, while the nine-speed drivetrain gives you a useful range of gears for different gradients. A fully loaded cargo bike will naturally require more assistance than an unloaded bike, but the T3 is built with carrying and hillier urban routes in mind.
Yes. The T3 has a 70mm front suspension fork, designed to absorb bumps, kerbs and uneven road surfaces. Combined with the 20 x 2.4-inch cargo tyres, it helps create a more comfortable and stable ride when the bike is loaded.
The T3 uses four-piston hydraulic disc brakes. That’s particularly useful on a cargo bike, where the combined weight of rider, passengers and cargo can be considerably higher than on a conventional e-bike.
Despite being a cargo bike, the T3 is designed to remain practical for urban riding. It has a low-step frame, low centre of gravity, 20-inch wheels and an adjustable riding position. Fiido lists the T3 for riders between 155cm and 200cm tall.
The UK version is specified with a 250W motor and 15.5mph maximum assisted speed, matching the key EAPC limits for Great Britain. Always check the exact specification of the bike you’re purchasing and current UK regulations before riding.
The T3 has an IP54 rating for the full bike, according to Fiido. This means it has protection against dust ingress and water splashes, making it suitable for everyday riding in changeable weather. It isn’t designed to be submerged in water.
The Fiido T3 weighs approximately 33kg with the battery installed. That’s worth considering when planning storage or moving the bike, particularly if you need to lift it into a vehicle or carry it up stairs.
The T3 is the more compact urban and family-focused option, with a 150kg payload and 972Wh battery. The T3 Max offers a higher 200kg payload, a longer rear cargo section and the option of a dual-battery setup for significantly greater carrying capacity and range.
If your priority is a more compact family cargo bike for everyday urban riding, the T3 is a great fit. If you regularly need to carry heavier loads or want maximum cargo capacity, the T3 Max is the bigger beast.
