We don’t recommend that you ride your Onewheel in light or heavy rain. This could result in unwanted damage since they don’t have an IP certification. In addition, getting the Onewheel wet can result in voiding your warranty.
The Onewheel is recommended for the ages of 13 and above.

GBI did a bit of rollerblading as a kid of the 80s/90s and although I owned a skateboard I never got to grips with it. Probably lacked some of the courage (or lack of fear!) to ever progress, so like many things, it ended up collecting dust in my parent’s garage. 25yrs later along comes OneWheel. I saw it in a gadget magazine and was instantly intrigued. Started watching some YouTube videos of people having their first goes on one, and thought maybe it would be something I’d enjoy. I was wrong, I don’t like it, I love it! There is a learning curve, but as long as you take it slow, wear the safety gear and start somewhere with plenty of space within an hour or two you’ve got the basics sorted. I went down to the local supermarket carpark at 7am one sunny Sunday morning and just practiced starting/stopping and turning. Few little bumps to master too. Two or three weeks in and I’ve now done over 40 miles on it and use it for any excuse instead of taking the car…shops, badminton, or just out for the hell of it. Things like dropped curbs and imperfections in the paths have stopped worrying me like they did at the start. I still have a lot of respect for it, and it’s still on “Redwood” mode which limits top speed to 12mph, but that’s fine for me, 12mph seems plenty fast enough at present. The board is well made and looks great with the extra bumpers/rail guards attached. I was really scared it would be another expensive toy left in the garage to collect dust, but I reckon this one might actually get some proper usage, at least for the summer months. Sounds like waterproofing is a little sketchy. Starting to try a few off-road trails too now as I’m a bit less wobbly and the board moving under my feet doesn’t freak me out so much. I’m quite tall and around 190lbs, so no issues with power or torque. I live near the top of Malvern Hill so I’m normally either going up or down hill. I think the extra power of the GT or GTS would have been nice, but I couldn’t stretch that far to begin with, but who knows for the future.
Small, but mightier.
This is a Onewheel Pint, but not as you know it. Don’t worry, it’s still all the things you love about the original – it’s compact, it’s lighter than the XR and the GT, it’s still got a built in Maghandle for portability. But, squeezed into this machine of fun is a massive range increase of up to 18 miles (that’s 125% more than the original Pint). It also goes faster and has more torque.
