There’s a paddock feeling to unfolding this thing before a ride, the small ritual of prep before you’re off, not unlike watching a crew work a car over before lights out. It sounds a bit dramatic for something you’re about to ride round a private estate, and it absolutely is, and that’s precisely the point.
