PURE ESCAPE

The PURE Escape sits at the base of the Escape family, running the same 350W nominal, 924W max motor as the rest of the range, paired with up to 27.4mi of range, a steel frame, and Pure Control Steering Stabilisation built in as standard, not an upgrade you pay extra to unlock. It’s built for everyday riding rather than showing off, and doesn’t apologise for that once.

Sale on Pure Electric scooters starts now! Ends 9th September.

PURE Escape electric scooter shown in studio lighting with steel frame and integrated grips

No Plus Sign, No Problem

Somewhere up the range there’s a Pro+ with a bigger battery and a longer number on the box, and this isn’t that scooter, and it’s entirely fine with that. The Escape is what happens when you take the core platform, keep everything that actually matters, and quietly skip the bit where the marketing team gets to add another plus sign to the name.

Same Motor, Smaller Bragging Rights

924W at peak is still properly capable, and a 19% hill gradient means it’s not backing down from much, this is the same core motor as the rest of the family, just without the extended battery doing the bragging for it. Rear wheel drive keeps things planted, especially when the ground’s damp, which in the UK is most days it’s ever going to be ridden.

The Good Bit Wasn’t Optional

Pure Control Steering Stabilisation is built into the frame here exactly like it is further up the range, which is the sort of thing that quietly makes the “base model” label feel a bit unfair. It’s not a watered down version of the good bit, it’s just the good bit, on a scooter that isn’t trying to convince you it’s anything more than sensible.

Corners Worth Keeping

10 inch tubeless tyres, a steel frame, IP65 rated against the weather, this is not a scooter cutting corners so much as one that’s decided the corners in question weren’t worth cutting into in the first place. Everyday riding doesn’t need a bigger battery bolted on to prove a point, it needs to just work, reliably, every single time you unfold it.

Same Safety Kit, Smaller Battery

Front drum brake, rear KERS regenerative braking, a 150 lumen front light and always on rear running light, front and rear reflectors, the safety kit reads exactly like the more expensive models because, largely, it is exactly like the more expensive models. The battery’s simply smaller, and the recharge is quicker for it, which some people will actually prefer rather than tolerate.

What You’re Actually Losing

This is the one for people who read “Pro+” on a spec sheet, shrugged, and asked what they’d actually be losing. The honest answer is range, and not much else. Everything that makes the Escape family worth riding in the first place is present and correct here too, just without the badge that says so.
