The SX-E800 packs an 800W electric motor, delivering smooth and responsive power that makes getting out on the dirt seriously fun. With up to 50Nm of rear-wheel torque and a direct-drive chain system, there’s plenty of punch when it’s needed, while the twist throttle keeps power delivery simple and easy to control.
As young riders build their confidence, the SX-E800 can grow with them. Three selectable riding modes – Eco, Standard and Sport – offer top speeds of 9.5mph, 15.5mph and 21.5mph respectively. This gives parents the flexibility to start things off at a more manageable speed before increasing performance as the rider develops their skills.
The SX-E800 is designed to handle more than just the garden. With 16-inch MX tyres, a carbon steel race frame, front and rear suspension and a 740mm wheelbase, it’s ready for grass, dirt and light trails. At just 20kg with a 550mm seat height, it also provides a manageable platform for riders moving up from smaller electric bikes.
When you’re riding off-road, having confidence in your brakes and controls is essential. The SX-E800 features mineral-oil hydraulic braking with a 160mm front disc and 140mm rear disc, giving young riders responsive stopping performance. There’s also a safety lanyard designed to cut the bike out if the rider comes off.
