The P7LR weighs in at just 31.5kg and 34kg upgraded battery. The P-7R feels light and very manouverable , yet still retains the smooth responsive power delivery. The P-7R has a gear range low enough to climb steep hills or ride with out electrical assistance or high enough to maintain pedal assistance at elevated speeds. Its concentric, roller bearing swingarm pivot helps to minimise pedal bob and reduces the number of moving/wearing suspension parts and minimising your service intervals. The P-7R’s brushless DC hub motor is compact, lightweight and has little problem thrusting its rider up just about any hill. There is little to no resistance when coasting so getting caught out with a flat battery means you can easily shift it down a gear for an easy pedal back to your home or temporary base.
The P-7R 2022 model offers the stiffer 4130 CrMo frame coupled with the latest gen swingarm. There is also the P-7R throttle that will offer its rider the improved throttle map – more start up torque! The bike can also be fully charged and ready to ride again in 3 hours from 110V/240V charge. The wheelbase is 1272mm with an overall length of 1980mm and width of 800mm. The P-7R come standard with Durolux R2C2 (single crown) front suspension with the diameters of 36mm and travel of 180mm while the rear is BDA35RC with a rear travel of 160mm. Stealth offer a Planetary geared Brushless engine that gives continuous power of 1000 Watt with a peak power of 1500 Watt and a max torque of 90Nm(approx).
The PR7 Battery is Lithium ion 1.5kWh with the electrical characteristics 13S 31ah 48V. Straight out of the box the P-7R comes standard with 4 piston Magura MT4 brakes with 2 hydraulic clamping down on 180mm rotors. With just one finger on the brake levers riders can lay it down low through corners and stop on a dime, making the P-7R’s maneuvering ability nothing short of phenomenal. There is no regen braking on this model. The diameter for the front and rear tyre are 27.5 x 2.4″ with a wheel diameter of 27.5″. It comes with front and rear mudguards and the controller cover is metal. The P-7R’s footprint shares a similar profile to that of a medium size downhill mountain bike meaning that you can still load it on to your bike rack, or easily transport it in an elevator or small van.
