Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Stomp Haywire road legal in the UK?
No, the Stomp Haywire electric dirt bike is not road legal in the UK. Due to its high power (21kW) and top speed, it is designed for off-road use only and must be ridden on private land with permission.

How fast does the Stomp Haywire electric dirt bike go?
The Haywire has a top speed of up to 65 mph (105 km/h), making it one of the fastest electric dirt bikes available in the UK.

What is the range of the Stomp Haywire?
The Haywire can achieve up to 80 miles on a single charge, depending on rider weight, terrain, and riding style. Aggressive riding or high-speed use will reduce overall range.

How powerful is the Stomp Haywire?
It features a high-performance 21kW motor (approximately 28HP) with up to 720Nm of torque, delivering instant acceleration and strong climbing ability for off-road riding.

How long does it take to charge the battery?
A full charge typically takes around 5–6 hours using the standard charger, making it easy to recharge overnight or between rides.

Can beginners ride the Stomp Haywire?
The Haywire is designed for experienced riders due to its high power and performance. However, it does include multiple riding modes, allowing you to start in lower power settings and build confidence over time.

What riding modes does the Haywire have?
The bike includes four riding modes: Eco, Trail, Sport, and Turbo. These modes adjust power output and responsiveness depending on your riding conditions and experience level.

Is the battery removable?
Yes, the Haywire features a removable lithium battery, allowing for convenient charging and flexibility when storing or transporting the bike.

How does it compare to a Sur Ron or Talaria?
The Stomp Haywire offers significantly more power (21kW), higher top speed, and a full-size dirt bike setup with 21”/18” wheels. This makes it a stronger choice for riders looking for a more aggressive, motocross-style electric bike.

What maintenance does the Haywire require?
Electric dirt bikes require less maintenance than petrol bikes. There’s no oil, fuel system, or engine servicing—just basic upkeep such as brakes, tyres, chain, and general checks.

Is it waterproof?
The Haywire is built with high-level water resistance (IP66/IP67 rated components), meaning it can handle wet and muddy conditions typically encountered in off-road riding.

What type of riding is the Haywire best for?
It’s ideal for motocross, enduro, trail riding, and high-performance off-road use. It’s built for riders who want petrol-level performance in an electric platform.
