Vaquita Electric SUP & Kayak Motor Kit

Easily turn your stand up paddleboard or kayak into an electric cruiser and go further, faster. This kit fits most boards and kayaks using the included adaptors and will propel you up to 6mph (that’s 5 knots in nautical lingo). At full speed you’ll get around 1 hour of fun.

We’ve used this kit at Ride + Glide to help paddle against currents both at sea and on trips up and down river. It’s a game changer and means you can be on the water all day without having to worry about up the creek without a paddle.

Sensors in the wearable remote cut off the motor immediately if you fall in the water, so you won’t be left treading water will your ride heads into the distance.

With an IP67 rating you get complete protection against ingress of dust and airborne particles and also protection against water and liquids, up to and including immersion in up to one meter of water. The battery floats and the whole unit is suitable for sea-water (saline) use, which is not the case for many SUP motors.

The beauty of this motor is just how versatile it is. You can easily attach and reattach to all sorts of craft, meaning you could be riding your SUP in the morning, cruising your kayak/canoe in the afternoon, and you can even attach to your body board to catch those evening waves, if you wish. In the box comes a US fin adaptor, SUP fin adaptor and universal adapter with ratchet straps to attach the gear to almost anything.

The electric motor can also be used to hold a steady position in a river while fishing. And because it’s an electric motor it’s incredibly quiet, so peace is maintained and marine life is not disturbed.
