United KingdomThis is a great scooter, and if you are looking for an everyday city commuter scooter, this is probably the best thing on the market at the moment. Having had an eScooter from another well respected brand previously, Apollo have really raised the bar with the build quality and design of this thing. From having had a scooter previously the big three things that are the most common potential sources of annoyment are; Brakes, Punctures and Water Ingress. With this scooters IP66 rating, drum brakes and self healing tyres, they have addressed these issues - you'll spend far more time riding and far less of your time with maintenance. I'm a 115kg rider and I live in a hilly town with lots of 10-15% gradient roads. If you get the dual motor version you'll have absolutely no problem getting up the hills. It's not absolutely perfect yet, but they are getting there. Minor things in the main, but some of the things that could be improved. The handlebar post clamp ( not the one that locks or or open to collapse the scooter handlebar stem - that's rock solid ) but the one that tightens to prevent to handlebars twisting out of alignment needs a redesign as it can become loose over time. The indicators switches need a redesign. The only problem here is that is is difficult to indicate right going up a hill as you need to take your thumb off the thumb throttle to push the R indicator switch. This will cause you to mometarily slow down which is not great if you have a car following you. The Scooter could have more travel in the rear suspension as it can bottom out too easily - particularly for heavier riders. The rubberised deck is brilliant but the attachment point for the handlebar is raised which causes an uncomfortable bump under your foot. It would be far better if it was recessed into the deck making it flush. There is no way of locking the collapsed handlebar in place when the scooter is folded for picking up and putting into the boot of your car. Surely there is an easy fix for this. The rear footrest / hand grip raises from the deck too steeply - no biggey but would be better if it was smaller or set at a shallower angle. It would be more comfortable for your rear foot. Hey - that's about it. These are all fairly minor things in an otherwise fantastic scooter - don't let any of these things put you off buying. There is, however, one pressing issue that Apollo need to resolve with the City Pro and that is the chargers. For some reason they don't seem to be up to the job of charging the scooter and have a tendency to burn out. When this happened to me Ride and Glide were brilliant and quickly sent me a replacement. I have spoken to the guys at Ride and Glide and Apollo know this has been an issue and are quickly working to resolve the problem - yet again a resolution is on the way so don't let this deter you buying.
GermanyThis scooter is so much fun to ride. It's extremely smooth and fast. Even going at 30mph, I felt completely safe as a new rider. Not only that, it's extremely durable. (New rider going fast, of course I crashed at top speed). There were no marks on the scooter whatsoever even though it was on the asphalt. Just a slight adjustment of the handlebar set it straight. The lights are pretty good, but they could be a bit brighter. The app seems decent. I only used it to change the speeds. I haven't tried the digital locking feature too often since I live in a safe place, plus I have a lock. My biggest gripe isn't with the scooter, but the charger. I've found that the chargers are only good for three or four charges. After that, they burn out. Right now, I only charge for an hour and keep a close eye on it. My third charger hasn't burnt yet, but fingers crossed. Another thing that annoys me is how you carry the scooter. Since there's just a hook/latch to put the stem down, it easily becomes undone once you set it down. Normally, I prefer buying from the company directly, but Ride and Glide have the best customer support I've ever dealt with. They've been extremely patient helping me with my charger issue, and I cannot thank them enough for it.
GBThe scooter came with two screws missing and then it locked me out could not ride it the it was locked at 20km would not go any faster so the three times I emailed ride and glide I have to say they were brilliant all three problems solved cannot fault customer services as for the pro this thing goes like a rocket this scooter turns heads many people ask me were I got it five stars for me
