‘Ride and Glide’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ used in the following statements refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is The Shed, 95 Arundel Road, Worthing, BN13 3EU. Our company registration number is 11035578 and place of registration is the UK. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Buyer-seller contract:

The buyer-seller contact begins once the product or products have been sent by the seller (Ride and Glide) and received by the buyer.

 

Ride and Glide Ltd Warranty Terms and Conditions:

All purchases are subject to our full warranty condition, summarised below and detailed in full here: www.rideandglide.co.uk/warranties/ 

1.Goods sold are not refundable if used. Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase if the product and packaging arrive back at Ride and Glide exactly as they were sent out, unopened and unused. Refunds will be issued once a Ride and Glide technician has checked the product and packaging. This condition is irrespective of purchase method or any coupon codes used.

2.The limited warranty for Ride and Glide LTD select e-scooters and e-unicycles products extends for the first 12 months beginning on the date of purchase of the product.

3.The warranty components includes 1.Hub Motor 2. Battery 3. Controller 4. Throttle and battery indicator unit. 5. Charger Unit. 6 All other electrical wiring and components

4.Any products returned to Ride and Glide for warranty claims must be packaged in the original packaging they arrived in. Ride and Glide are not liable for damage to products in transport from the customer to Ride and Glide.

5.Repaired product will be warranted for the balance of the original period

Exclusions:

1. Consumables (such as fuses, brake pads, brake calipers, braking disc, tires, tube, brake cable, bearings etc)

2.Damage associated with commercial use.

3. Defects or damages from accidents, improper use and storage, abnormal conditions, exposure to moisture or dampness, unauthorised modifications or repairs, or other acts which are not the fault of Ride and Glide.

 

Uncollected Items Policy:

Collection Period: Upon completion of repair or service, customers are expected to collect their items within 14 days of being notified of the completion, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Notification: Customers will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of service or repair once their item is ready for collection. The notification will include details of the completed service, instructions for collection, and any applicable charges or fees.

Extension Requests: Customers unable to collect their items within the specified time frame are required to contact Ride and Glide Ltd promptly to request an extension. Extensions will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be agreed upon in writing.

Storage Fees: In the event that an item remains uncollected after the initial 14-day period, Ride and Glide Ltd reserves the right to charge a storage fee of £10 per day for each additional day the item remains in our possession.

Final Notice: If an item remains uncollected for a total of 60 days from the date of the initial notification, Ride and Glide Ltd will issue a final notice to the customer via registered mail or another trackable method. The final notice will include a grace period of 14 days for the customer to arrange collection or request an extension.

Disposal of Uncollected Items: In the absence of communication or collection within the specified 14-day grace period following the final notice, Ride and Glide Ltd reserves the right to proceed with the lawful disposal of the uncollected item. Disposal may involve selling the item to recover any outstanding fees or disposing of it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Right to Recover Costs: Customers will be held responsible for any outstanding charges, including but not limited to repair or service fees, storage fees, and disposal costs, in the event of uncollected items.

Communication: Customers are encouraged to maintain up-to-date contact information with Ride and Glide Ltd to ensure effective communication regarding their items and any related matters.

Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy may be considered in exceptional circumstances, and customers are encouraged to communicate any challenges they may face in adhering to the specified collection periods.

Manufacturers Warranty Terms and Conditions:

This refers to items sold by Ride and Glide that the manufacturers supply the warranty for. This applies to all e-skateboards including Onewheels, Super 73 e-bikes, and some e-scooter brands products. Although in many cases Ride and Glide can help with the process, warranty issues and claims for these items will be serviced by the manufacturer so no liability for warranty defects is with Ride and Glide.

Cycle Scheme Terms and Conditions:

When applying for one of the cycle schemes that we are partnered with, your invoice will be subject to an additional fee. This is to cover the “commission” fee that we are charged by the Scheme provider. Different schemes charge different fees ranging from approximately 5% to 15% of the retail price. Check with us before applying to a scheme to confirm the full invoice amount required.

Please note that at the present time, electric scooters, skateboards and Unicycles are not included in any of the schemes. They are purely for bicycles.

 

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions:

Gift vouchers purchased via the website are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and work as store credit – vouchers can be redeemed across multiple purchases until such time as the total value of the gift voucher has been spent. Gift voucher validity periods cannot be extended.

 

Disclaimer:

Many of these products are extremely powerful and therefor can be very dangerous if ridden in a reckless or inappropriate manner. We strongly advise you to only use these products on private land (except for road legal e-bikes) where you have the land owners permission. We also strongly advise anyone riding these machines to always wear a helmet at the very minimum and all other relevant protective equipment. These machines are not toys and can cause a lot of damage to the rider and or other people if not used safely. Although you are riding them at your own risk, please always stay to safe speeds and do not push them to their limits.
