PURE STYLE
The Brooklyn comes with an aluminium frame with a high quality lacquer which will retain its super stylish look. When you combine this with high quality Shimano parts, Gates Carbon Drive system and a Brooks saddle and handles what comes out of it is both a high quality and comfortable electric bike. The Gates Carbon Drive System is the industry standard for a low maintenance belt drive, its clean, light and most importantly strong. Watt bikes went for a gear ratio of 2.75 to be able to cycle smoothly at a higher speed. This will make the bike seem heavier to ride but because of the electric motor you will barely notice!
SPEC IT OUT
The Brooklyn comes with a 250 watt motor in the rear axle as well as with a speed sensor in the bottom bracket to regulate the drive. The motor has 5 levels of support to a maximum of 25km/h. The modes are preset but can be adjusted according to ones preferences. As with all WATT bikes the battery is integrated into the down tube. The battery is a 36v 10.5Ah lithium battery developed by Samsung. The charge time is about 3 hours from empty to full also. The range varies on several factors such as weight, level of assistance and cycling conditions. Generally it is between 40-70 kilomteres which is more than ample for an urban ebike.
