What can I say , Yes this scooter is a beast having not owned a performance scooter before still getting used to the power ( haven't even progressed to level 3 yet).
Having upgraded from a Pure Air pro which even though it worked well I found the performance lacking in almost every area, yes a Ghost or even an Explore would have sufficed but once I saw the Phantom I knew that was the one for me.
As being a long term cyclist I wanted a scooter that would match the speeds and handling that I was used to , and the Phantom just does that perfectly.
The performance of this scooter can't be faulted , its just great to be able to accelerate up hills even on single motor ( rather than watch your speed go down and then have to push even though I weigh <65kg) Braking , suspension ,lighting and range are all first class. The throttle is the only area where improvement could be made , yes it is rather jerky especially at slower speeds , but I'll get used to it.
The big hex display is a treat so far have had no trouble reading it in sunlight, but would recommend use of a screen protector as I'm sure it would be prone to scratches.
Will have to add I did have problems with error messages when first ridden which took me a week to resolve ( loose assembly of lighting / sport mode selector , quality control issue at Apollo?).
It would have been nice to receive the tool kit as included with earlier models, but the Ride + glide trucker cap was a nice addition.
Must finally add thanks to the great service from the Ride and Glide team.
