First of all, the Kaabo Wolf King is a very capable all-round scooter, but it is off-road where it excels. From the wide knobbly tires to the firm but responsive suspension it handles trail riding with ease and at no point did it feel overwhelmed. Key points about the scooter as follows:
Build quality: Seems decent. The finish is great and it looks to be held together well. No noticeable squeaks or groans in use.
Suspension: Good enough for some serious off-road riding although it would have been nice to have adjustable pre-load. The suspension could be a little softer for some terrains (e.g. a pebbled road where the Inokim Ox fared better) but overall pretty good.
Performance: With both motors and turbo mode engaged in gear 3 it's like a rocket... seriously, it will pull your face off. I bumped it down to eco mode gear 1 and turned the acceleration down in the P-Settings for off-road use and it handles just lovely over rough terrain.
Range: Okay so it's not going to hit anywhere near the claimed range, but I managed to go 30km over rough terrain with fairly hard use and the battery was showing as 50%. Note that I'm 107Kg, so likely increase for lighter riders.
EYE Controller: Not my favourite to be honest as I prefer a thumb accelerator, but it's as one would expect. It's worth adjusting it from the almost vertical position to something more horizontal for comfort and ease of use, and to avoid hitting the accelerator instead of the brake (not a good thing on a scooter this powerful)
Deck: Really good size and despite the lack of grip tape it's feels very safe and secure.
Lights & Horn: Front headlights are very bright and provide good visibility. Under deck lights look nice. Rear brake light is built into the mudguard and seems to work well enough.
Toughness: I crashed twice (once in sand and once in sand/gravel) and it's unmarked and undamaged. So it seems to be quite robust.
Charging: Using just the supplied charger will take so long you'll probably be able to raise a family or invent something. However, with the optional fast charger it charges in under 6 hours. Note that the fast charger has a built-in fan and is quite noisy in use.
Overall: Brilliant scooter that's great off-road and will pull your face off with on-road acceleration if dialled-up to full.
